Safety

Safety is our utmost priority at TransAnatolia. A 25-vehicle 4×4 rescue fleet is available every 10–15 km along the stage. Our lead vehicle crosses the stage in the early morning, checking the safety and navigability of the route, while our sweep vehicles control the stages from start to finish. Our 4×4 rescue trucks are specially equipped to provide rapid intervention and portable equipment in challenging off-road conditions. Every detail has been meticulously planned for the safety of the competitors.

Health

At TransAnatolia, health is as much a priority as safety. Our motorcycle doctors follow the stages, ready for any situation. In addition, our helicopters are on standby for emergency intervention at all times, and the UMKE team (National Medical Rescue Team) is constantly on duty with us. This detailed health plan ensures the highest level of protection for participants throughout the race.

Vehicle Tracking

Race safety and organizational control on Transanatolia’s challenging tracks are ensured through advanced technological solutions. In this regard, the Stella tracking device used is a proven and reliable system that allows real-time monitoring of vehicle locations and statuses throughout the race.

Stella updates and transmits data received from race vehicles to the center every 10 seconds. This enables the organizing team to track every moment of the race with high precision and take quick action when necessary. If vehicles stop, the system automatically sends a signal to the center, allowing immediate detection of potentially risky situations.

The screen on the device’s front panel allows direct communication between competitors and the organization center. This feature offers a critical advantage, especially in emergencies or when guidance is needed.

Furthermore, Stella takes safety a step further by supporting inter-vehicle interaction during the race. When a competitor approaches the vehicle in front dangerously close, the system activates and warns the front vehicle to yield. This both enhances race safety and ensures fair sporting competition.
